The Cyberking Will Rise...
Four days to go and the BBC are teasing us with more tasters of The Next Doctor, this year's Christmas special of Doctor Who.
Advance press reviews are already putting it in a different league to last year's debacle.

- I was a regular salaryman, earning a crust with my meager writing skills, until an aneurysm tore open my aorta unexpectedly in early 2005. I suffered a stroke during surgery and a collapsed lung afterwards. I have since realised that I now have a new chance at life, which (body willing) I shall indulge in with positiveness, happiness and the good companionship of my wonderful wife. The Acrobatic Flea handle comes from the name of my favourite - and most successful - Villains & Vigilantes RPG character in the '80s.

Ooooh! Good spot! We know RTD likes to tease us... Of course, Sarah Jane's newest assistant is also called Rani!
Yeah...if she didn't come fully equipped with family, I'd be really suspicious of Rani on The Sarah Jane Adventures.
But, really, I'm liking her a lot as a character. Almost more than her predecessor...but I'm glad Maria is still included in the stories. :)
It's a sign of the quality writing on the show that Maria and her dad haven't been forgotten about; and it leaves the door wide open for them to return at any stage.
