Since HeroPress joined the Comic Blog Elite last week, it has rocketed up the top 100 like The Flash, only now to have overtaken by our favourite daily blog, Reis O'Brien's Geek Orthodox.
On December 8, HeroPress was in 38th place; on the 9th it was at number 31; on the 10th we'd broken into the top 30 at number 26; a day later we'd risen to number 23; but now we have slipped back to number 24 - thanks to Geek Orthodox leap frogging us from 25th place (and, as of now, still rising...)I guess we're never going to be able to compete with Reis' informative toy-related rambles and his daily dose of costumed hotties.
Well, if you can't beat 'em...

Thanks for the kind words and the link back. Actually, I've always felt that your blog is so much more well written and is a prime example of weblog journalism. I mean, seriously, all I pretty much post is a bunch of pictures of old toys that I swiped from eBay and the occasional half-naked chick dressed like Red Sonja. This is not good blog writing, I admit.
The truth is that this simply shows that we're both doing damn well, and I personally can only do it better through the great support of the geeky-blog community, of which you are a front-runner. So just for the record, I will never think of us as competitors, but rather comrades.
You're doing great work here, mi amigo! (Just wait until next week when the tide turns and you leap-frog me!)
