Just in case you are in any doubt about whether you should see this film or not, here is the magnificent title sequence, which sets out the background to Watchmen and features many famous 'historical' scenes from the graphic novel.
UPDATE (March 8): I'm sorry (but not that surprised) to say that this video has been removed at "the request of certain copyright holders". Hopefully those who managed to get to see it enjoyed it and were encouraged to go see the movie. I have deleted the clip so you're not looking at a black rectangle, but left the text as a couple of people have already commented and I had no wish to delete their input.

About Me
- The Acrobatic Flea
- I was a regular salaryman, earning a crust with my meager writing skills, until an aneurysm tore open my aorta unexpectedly in early 2005. I suffered a stroke during surgery and a collapsed lung afterwards. I have since realised that I now have a new chance at life, which (body willing) I shall indulge in with positiveness, happiness and the good companionship of my wonderful wife. The Acrobatic Flea handle comes from the name of my favourite - and most successful - Villains & Vigilantes RPG character in the '80s.

4 persons have something to say about this!:
Holy crap wow. I'm seeing this next week, and can't wait. The more I see, the more I'm impressed!
I can't get over how freakin' awesome this film was. I was worried I might have built it up too much before going (like The Phantom Menace), but I needn't have worried.
Conversely, Rachel didn't enjoy it and thought it was way too long
I have to agree with the acrobatic flea. It was well done. A nice companion to the comics. Might be a little too insider-y but was well worth it. I am eager to see the 4 hour director's cut.
It's still available on YouTube if you search for it. ;-)
My goodness - it's good but if you're not a fan of the book you'd be wondering what the heck was going on for a lot of that (especially if you're not American).
