Second Wedding Anniversary!

(advert from Oddee)

Today is the second anniversary of the happiest day of my life.

Don't forget it's also: Universal Day Of The Jedi - a 'holiday' for Star Wars fans - and Towel Day - a day for remembering and celebrating the life and works of Douglas Adams.

In the UK it's also a national holiday today (Bank Holiday Monday) and in the USA it's Memorial Day; which - all together - pretty much makes it a global day of celebrations.

I hope you all have as brilliant a day as Rachel and I and we'll see you on the flip-side, no doubt nursing a few hangovers!

6 persons have something to say about this!:

"Global Day of celebration" indeed!

Not in Scotland. Yes it's a bank holiday, but all that means is that the banks are closed, everyone else has to work as normal. Up here we look forward to Public Holidays not Bank Holidays!

Congratulations on the anniversary, and enjoy your day off.

Sorry to hear you don't get the day off, David.

Of course, to a gentleman of leisure like myself, every day is a holiday - but I don't get to spend all of them with my wife :)

Yes, happy anniversary to you both. Doesn't seem like two whole years. Nice of them to declare it a public holiday for you.
I thought May 4th was the Jedi celebration?

Thank you, Nick! I don't think May 4th is an "official" Star Wars holiday - it's just funny!May 25 is the day it all began... and the world was never the same again, but enough about you and Clare...

Congrats to you two as well!

About Me

My Photo
The Acrobatic Flea
I was a regular salaryman, earning a crust with my meager writing skills, until an aneurysm tore open my aorta unexpectedly in early 2005. I suffered a stroke during surgery and a collapsed lung afterwards. I have since realised that I now have a new chance at life, which (body willing) I shall indulge in with positiveness, happiness and the good companionship of my wonderful wife. The Acrobatic Flea handle comes from the name of my favourite - and most successful - Villains & Vigilantes RPG character in the '80s.
