Garden Watch: The Conclusion (Sort Of...)

Here we have it... HeroPress Towers' Garden, 2009.

Rachel's parents put my shed together today and assembled the garden table (see below, with four comfy chairs).

Barring a few minor tweaks (some soil needed to fill a hole, shelves for my shed, painting the outside of both wooden units and possibly returfing the area of 'dead' grass etc) that's the garden pretty much ready for the "barbeque summer" we were promised.

A massive thank you to Robin, Rita and Gary for their hard work. Now Rachel and I will be able to enjoy the fruits of their labours.

4 serfs have something to say about this!:

  1. That is a sweet funky little patio you got workin there. Congrats.

  2. Thank you, we're very pleased with it.

Clearly there's still bits to do, but it's now in "working order" in time for Rachel's birthday BBQ next weekend (Weather Gods willing)

  3. Coincidentally, your garden table and chairs look *very* similar to those we bought last week. Ours though are dark graphite grey not the lighter (silver?) colour yours are.

    Do the chairs recline?

(I can't believe I'm chatting about garden furniture on this blog :-/)

  4. Why, yes they do, Nimbus.

They're a very popular design at the moment - the in-laws have bought a very similar design as well (in fact I think they might be the same as yours by the sound of it!) Although when I saw their chairs - through the torrential rain today - I'm not sure if their chairs reclined.

No topic is too risque for discussion here ;-)
