The highly anticipated return of Torchwood begins tonight at 9pm on BBC1 and runs all week.

Y'know, I think I would've preferred them running this over 5weeks and not 5 consecutive nights. I'm also concerned that the story will be decompressed (like writing for the trade). We'll see.

Of course, being on every day this week, if I miss one night's episode I'll have to record all the remaining ones to keep on top of things.

Ah well... here we go...

The five episodes over five nights is a gimmick, of course - to promote this as "event TV".

And if it continues on the strength of this evening's episode then I think it will prove a worthy experiment and guarantee a Season Four (which will hopefully return to weekly episodes).
