(1) Deadlands Boardgame Due Next Month: Deadlands: The Battle For Slaughter Gulch, the long-awaited boardgame is due out soon from Twilight Creations, the makers of Zombies!!! and Martians!!!
(2) Universe Opens For Business: Stargate: Universe (see trailer above), the latest addition to the galaxy-spanning franchise premiers in October.
(3) Sunken Treasure: The first Deadlands novel, Deluge by John Goff, has been published, to tie-in with Pinnacle's western horror RPG.(4) Doctor In The House: Doctor Who star David Tennant has signed on for a villainous role in the St Trinian's sequel: The Legend Of Fritton's Gold, which is now shooting.

(6) Wicked Deal: Cubicle 7 (the Doctor Who RPG people) announce another partnership, this time with John Wick, author of Houses Of The Blooded and many other innovative RPGs.
(7) Cthulhu Gets Darker: In John Wick's new Call of Cthulhu scenario Curse Of The Yellow Sign, Act I: Digging For a Dead God, the player-characters are Nazis in pre-war Africa. The scenario is designed for a single-night's play.
(8) Multiple Millas: The next chapter in the Resident Evil movie franchise - complete with multiple clones of Milla Jovovich's Alice - is scheduled for release in September, 2010.
(9) Who's For More? Season Four of Big Finish's Eighth Doctor adventures has just been announced, continuing with Paul McGann as The Doctor and Sheridan Smith as Lucie Miller (who deserves a shot as a TV companion).
(10) Blade Unsheathed Again: A new Blade trilogy is coming, according to top vampire Deacon Frost aka Stephen Dorff.
(11) Biting Back: The iconic figure of Vampirella will grace comics again in September's budget-conscious $1.99 book from Harris Comics: Vampirella - The Second Coming .
(12) The Doctor Keeps Going: Writer Tony Lee talks about the new on-going Doctor Who comic series from IDW, which begins this week.
(13) To The Moon...: The BBC's Doctor Who website is joining in the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the moon landings with a new, four-part story beginning tomorrow (Wednesday).
(14) Deadpool = Green Lantern: Ryan Reynolds, already playing Deadpool in an upcoming Marvel movie, has now been cast as Hal Jordan in the newDC Comics Green Lantern film.
(15) Dredd's Big Finish: Judge Dredd, the iconic lawman from 2000AD comics, is returning to Big Finish for four dramatic readings, with last featuring Louise Jameson as Psi-Judge Anderson.
