(7) Me Thor, You Jane: Natalie Portman is to play Jane Foster, Thor's mortal girlfriend in Kenneth Branagh's Thor movie. The film is scheduled for release in the US on May 20, 2011.

(9) Welcome The Black Widow: The first, exclusive, pictures of Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow in Iron Man 2 have been published in Entertainment Weekly - and have subsequently roared round the Interwebs.
(10) Amy In The TARDIS: Filming was due to begin on the new season of Doctor Who yesterday (Monday) with the new Doctor, Matt Smith, and assistant Karen Gillan - whose character's name has been revealed as Amy Pond. And the Doctor's "friend from the future" River Song appears to be back as well.

7) Jane Foster - most underrated superhero romantic lead in history. Happy to see them balance the present day with the mythological stuff.

9) Starting to think they're over-packing the next Iron Man film. Introducing too many characters can sink a movie.

11) I'm fine with it. Is Moffat maybe having the young man play the older man that was originally scripted? Like Davison's "old man in a young man's body"?

I like the new Doctor's outfit, very retro. But I've decided from now on I'm going to try my best to avoid spoilers until I actually see the show next year (isn't half the fun NOT knowing what's going to happen next? I like to be surprised!)
As to David Tennant & The Hobbit, I can't see it myself either and suspect his name was plucked out of thin air... possibly even by the press.
