The Painting Of The Dead...

My latest batch of zombie miniatures - led by this excellent zombified George Romero (above) - arrived from Neil, my figure painter, this week, along with the members of Black Squadron, a rugged, rag-tag force of post-zompocalypse survivors.

The 22 zombies came from Studio Miniatures' ever expanding range of the walking dead. Who could say 'no' to a "zombie in a chicken suit" or a zombie granny with a walking stick or a 'halfer' holding onto a parking meter (see below)?

Meanwhile, the 14 members of Black Squadron (led by Dr Buckles in the top hat below) are all Copplestone Future Wars figures.

And so, PROJECT Z lumbers on.

With only the shelves to go up in my shed now, that means later this year I'll finally be able to sort out my numerous "bitz" boxes I've accumulated over the years and, hopefully, then get back to one of the most satisfying aspects of the wargaming hobby (for me) - building post-apocalyptic terrain.

  2. Glad you approve :)

Of course, all credit must to go Neil (who actually paints 'em) - I just pose and picture them.
