(1) Still Shufflin': Studio Miniatures has released yet more 28mm zombies and a couple of extra human survivors for their ever growing range of living dead wargame figures.
(2) Bats Is Best: Batman has been named the "greatest superhero" in an online poll of British science-fiction fans.
(3) Buffy Summers Take Two: Interesting list of comparisons between Buffy and Dean Winchester (from Supernatural).(4) Labyrinth Lord Take Two: My favourite retro-clone roleplaying game system, Labyrinth Lord, is getting an overhaul - and revised - this month.
(5) Fantastic Four Take Two: Fox is re-booting the Fantastic Four franchise after the less-than-stellar reception to the first two films (which I thought were okay... even if Doctor Doom - Marvel's greatest villain - was rubbish).
(6) Being Frank About Halloween: It's almost a shame we don't do Halloween over here on the same scale as the Americans, because then you could wander the streets dressed as Frank The Bunny without feeling self-conscious.
(7) Face Lift For Sarah Jane: Her website that is! The new series starts on October 15, but in the meantime have fun with the Sarah Jane Adventures "trailer maker".
(8) Everyone's Getting Into Warehouse 13: Warehouse 13, which starts in the UK tonight (Tuesday) on Sci Fi, is now the most watched programme in the 17-year history of the newly renamed Syfy channel in the States.
(9) Living The Mad Dream: A British Mad Max fanatic has built his own Interceptor and moved to the Australian Outback.
(10) McFarlane's Over The Rainbow: Todd McFarlane talks about bringing his twisted view of Oz to the silver screen.
(11) Taking The Piss: President Rupiah Banda of Zambia has evicted the 200 monkeys that formerly lived in the State House grounds, after one urinated on him during a press conference.
(12) A PG-13 Lobo: Guy Ritchie is following up his take on Sherlock Holmes with an adaptation of DC Comics' spacefaring hard man Lobo. Oddly he appears to be aiming for a family-friendly version of the "big bastich".
(13) Plan 9 Revealed: A trailer for the remake of Plan 9 From Outer Space is due to be released on the unsuspecting Internet tomorrow (Wednesday).
(14) Zombie Signage: Amazing zombie-themed signs to decorate your post-apocalyptic wargames table lay-out. Everybody needs these!
(15) Lana Lang To Buy More: Smallville's Kristen Kreuk joins Chuck as a new love interest.
(16) Kirkman Talks Dead TV: Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman enthuses about the prospect of a "zombie movie that never ends".
(17) Neil Gaiman's Library: Not really news - but I wanted you all to share in my envy!
(18) D'oh! Bangladeshi newspapers had to apologise for running a story claiming the Moon landings were faked. Their source? Top satirical website The Onion!
(19) Spock Off: Leonard Nimoy has revealed that he will not be returning to the role of "old Spock" in the planned sequel to this year's Star Trek movie.
(20) Don't Shut Up, Wesley: Supergeek Wil Wheaton is releasing weekly podcast excerpts from his forthcoming book, Memories Of The Future, about his time as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
(21) No Room For Elf-Doubt: The Tuesday Knights ride again tonight, with Nick and Clare bringing a pair of elves as their new player-characters. Pete's new avatar in our Labyrinth Lord campaign currently remains a mystery.

2 persons have something to say about this!:
#1 - I've been in contact with them and am actually awaiting a review set. Looking forward to it!
#2 - I think that is rubbish. Bats is best, yes - but he's not a superhero.
#5 - I liked them both (especially the second), despite the raping of Doom.
#8 - LOVE that show. That is all.
#12 - No. No. No. The Main Man is at least "unrated". :)
#16 - I cannot wait.
#18 - *snicker*
My first wave of Studio Miniatures' zombies are due back from the painter this week!
Looking forward to seeing what you have to say about the next ones (as I currently can't really justify financially buying any more figures!)
