Let The Celebrations Begin...

Although it's still a week until my actual birthday, for a variety of reasons the celebrations began yesterday with a meal at Rachel's parents - and a few, select, presents.

As well as a box set of Season Two of 30 Rock and a very nice T-shirt, my in-laws got me a dalek rug (as shown above) for the gamesroom and a Doctor Who light shade, an uplighter, for the entrance hall to my top floor den.

[TEMPORAL STABILITY ALERT: A small, pre-emptive warning to regular visitors to HeroPress; I had some 'issues' with my PC last night that necessitated reloading Norton security. For a while there, it looked as though I was heading for a total meltdown - as happened about two months ago - but at present we seem to have regained normality.

However, if HeroPress suddenly stops regularly updating it means my system has crashed finally and I will be locked in serious talks with my accountant (ie Rachel) as to the future state of modern technology in this house!]
