Ooooh, Another Doctor Who RPG Titbit...

"Hi, I’m Alasdair and I wear lots of hats. I’m a freelance journalist with work appearing in everything from The Guardian to Sci Fi Now, a parsec-award winning podcaster as the host of Pseudopod, the editor of Hub and a roleplaying game writer.

"That last one is especially fun, as I’m currently writing the 9th Doctor boxed set for the upcoming
Doctor Who RPG. The thing about having lots of hats is deciding which one to wear and Rich has very kindly given me the opportunity to wear more than one here.

"In coming weeks you’ll be getting production notes for one of the
Doctor Who roleplaying game scenarios I’m working on, a look at some of the fascinating work being done in tabletop roleplaying at the moment and a look at why no one ends the world quite like the English."

...

"Next week is the first Doctoring The TARDIS, where I’ll be talking about Outlander, Vikings, Sontarans, the Chessmen of Lewis and what happens When Themes Collide!"

- from Alasdair Stuart's column on the Bleeding Cool website.

Obviously this will be a site to keep our eyes on in the future for more behind-the-scenes information on Doctor Who: Adventures In Time & Space.

2 persons have something to say about this!:

I assume that we'll only get these boxed supplements for incarnations from the current series, otherwise shelves are going to be groaning under the weight!

I'd imagine that we might get a "Classic Doctor" box lumping all the pre-RTD chaps into one, but you never know!

Honestly don't know what the future holds for this game - this was the first I'd heard of a "9th Doctor Boxed Set"... personally the more box sets the better (as along as they are full of quality material)

I like your idea of a single Classic box set, but Cubicle 7 is certainly concentrating on the new era first.

The Acrobatic Flea
I was a regular salaryman, earning a crust with my meager writing skills, until an aneurysm tore open my aorta unexpectedly in early 2005. I suffered a stroke during surgery and a collapsed lung afterwards. I have since realised that I now have a new chance at life, which (body willing) I shall indulge in with positiveness, happiness and the good companionship of my wonderful wife. The Acrobatic Flea handle comes from the name of my favourite - and most successful - Villains & Vigilantes RPG character in the '80s.
