Moorcock writing Dr Who made it right into my Top 10 List of Awesome Things the minute I heard it.
My mind went into overdrive at the possibility of The Doctor actually being the Eternal Champion and an incarnation of Elric, and whether Stormbringer was in a closet in the TARDIS somewhere.
Hey, a geek can dream, right? :D
Rather than being another avatar of The Eternal Champion, I'd like The Doctor to interact with one of its many faces...
But whatever Moorcock eventually decides to do, the chances are it's going to be mind-blowingly incredible and "the must-have" book of next year!
"Tales of the Gold Monkey" on DVD? Cool. In the duel of the Indy TV ripoffs, I liked "Bring 'Em Back Alive" better, but "Gold Monkey" was good.
Gold Monkey all the way for me :-) But hopefully this will start a rush of pulpy/Indiana Jones rip-offs finally making it to DVD and we'll get Bring 'Em Back Alive eventually ;)
