Move Along, Nothing To See Here...

Not that you could probably tell, but I have already begun - ahead of schedule - one of my 'major summer projects: to reorganise, tidy up and slim down down the contents of my gamesroom.

These pictures here don't really do justice to the chaos that has erupted up here in recent months.

The major 'heavy lifting' is planned for my summer break from HeroPress, which (hopefully) will also see me organising my DVD collection into some semblance of order and putting some more work on my comics - to update the collection since my last 'Great Reorganisation' (love the fact that back in January '09 I was talking about getting up the enthusiasm to do something about my random DVD system... and I still haven't gotten around to it!).

The huge mass of boxes and packing material you can see in my office (above) is in aid of my eBay drive to (a) get in some much needed funds and (b) clear the deadwood from my horde, things that I thought would be 'really cool' at the time, but no longer have the same attachment to.

This process has already cleared a reasonable amount of shelf space, so if I can keep it up, I might - by the end of the summer - get everything down to a manageable level.

I really hope that if I can devote a good amount of time to all this and can tidy this room to the standard of other gamesrooms/dens I see dotted all around our little geeky corner of da Interwebz, it will encourage me to keep it looking neat and tidy.

I can dream, I suppose...

I'm only really posting these pictures so that later in the year I can post 'comparison' pics to show what I have achieved (or not!)

Also need to get working on sorting out Shedward, yet another project started with great gusto that has hit a road block of laziness...
