I Am... Bat-Monkey!
It's not just the humans that got Christmas presents in our household.
Rachel's parents' got Mon-Key Wan Kenobi a Batman outfit, so that by day he is a mild-mannered jedi knight and when darkness falls he dons his cape and cowl and takes to the rooftops as the crime-fighting Bat-Monkey!

Where's the Wonder Woman monkey? How's Rachel feeling?
ReplyDeleteI soooooo envy you that... How to convince my wife that is a necessity I wonder? Cool picture.
ReplyDelete@Whisk - perhaps when there's a Wonder Woman movie, Build-a-Bear will get a license for her outfit, but as it is the only truly geek outfits they do are a range of Star Wars ones and Batman. There's a generic wizard costume which could serve as Harry Potter or Merlin at a push ;)
ReplyDeleteRachel's still not great - still coughing a lot and full of cold :(
@Patterson - Thank you, Patterson. Good luck with your attempts to sway your wife ;) Surely, the cute factor might come into play at some point?
I was lucky that my wife knew, and accepted, 'all this' was part of the deal going into marriage. Although not a geek herself, she supports and tolerates my habit very generously and, by extension, so do her parents.
