Man Of Steel - Teaser Trailer...



So, here it is, the Man Of Steel teaser trailer...

Why is it so dark and miserable? This is Superman after all! Hope this isn't a sign of things to come and Zack Snyder hasn't gone on all "Dark Knight" with the Man Of Tomorrow?

Gritty and brooding just doesn't work with Superman - that's not what the character is about. He's a symbol of optimism.

  1. Hmmm...I know very little about this film right now and the trailer has not improved that much. I am prepared to give Snyder more than a chance after Watchmen and 300 (and Legend of the Guardians which was very positively received in the Grognard household), although he has used up a bit of my grace with Sucker Punch.

    1. I have a lot of time for Snyder, being a massive fan of Watchmen, 300 and, yes, even Sucker Punch, but this trailer just seems wrong for a Superman movie.

      Obviously we don't really know much about it t present, but I'm not particularly confident based on this tone-setting teaser.
