Did Anyone Even Know This Was Being Made?
Texas Chainsaw 3D (they couldn't even be bothered with the full title) must have been flying pretty low under the radar to get this far without anyone hearing about it.
I have a particular soft spot for the Chainsaw Massacre movies as the first one formed a major part of my university dissertation and I even rather liked the first of the remakes, but - judging from this trailer - this looks like a cheap cash-in with no attempts to add anything new to the franchise (just for a change).

I wouldn't put much stock in it. I'm a huge Living Dead fan. Ever see Night of Living Dead 3D? Did you even KNOW there was a Night of the Living Dead 3D? There's a reason. It was a horrid affair.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489244/
I knew NoTLD3D existed, but I've never seen it. Waiting for it to pop up on the Horror Channel or in the Blockbuster bargain bin.
DeleteThere really needs to be a state-sanctioned moratorium on sequels (one is acceptable, two is pushing it, three or more needs a government permit) to force filmmakers to come up with new ideas.
