Merlin makes a welcome return to Saturday nights as it replaces Doctor Who in the evening line-up on BBC1 from October 6.
The first episode, Arthur's Bane, airs at 7.45pm.
"Camelot faces a new golden age, but even as the city flowers, the dark seeds of destruction are being sown. In the frozen wastelands of the north, men are disappearing without a trace. King Arthur and his knights undertake a dangerous mission into the unknown in search of answers – but once there, Merlin finds himself locked in a battle unlike any he has fought before."

I wonder if Merlin will ever start work on his beard? It's been five series and he still looks as young as he did on Day One. A bit of face fur might lend him an air of maturity.
ReplyDeleteCan't see it happening myself, although maybe if they go for a sixth season ;) He does have his "older incarnation", which sports a beard though.
DeleteBring it on. I can't wait. Absolutely love this show and what they have done with it. I don't think Merlin can grow a beard :( I think he may have to glue one on next season
ReplyDeleteI, yoo, am very excited about the return of Merlin and looking forward to seeing how close they stick to the established myth and how much they invent to tell their own stories.
