Ladies & Gentlemen, Enlightenment Lies Just Around The Next Corner...


I'd like to say it's been a busy week here at HeroPress Towers, but most of the busy has been procrastination.

Work on my tentpole, megadungeon for our Tekralh fantasy RPG campaign is progressing slowly.

Part of my excuse (I call it 'research') is that my attention was constantly drawn to the latest Meme Wars in the OSR corner of the blogoverse: megadungeons are dead, empty rooms are boring, rats can't count to 2,000 and so on. All of which I scanned with wry detachment as I agonised over dungeon design, random encounter tables and room contents.

And I watched a lot of TV. Just because that's what I do. Or read comics. Or books. There's always something that MUST be done now, so I'll get on with working on the rather crucial dungeon later. It's next on the list, you know the drill.

So, without further ado, I welcome our latest recruits:
