All I am asking is for you to come up with a background for the creature pictured above (which has been knocking around on my hard drive for years). Is it a supervillain (or hero), a post-apocalyptic mutation, a monster from the land of nightmares, an alien invader...? It's up to you!
If you are a gamer, some statistics would be nice (any system), but if you are not, it doesn't matter. I'm not expecting doctoral length essays, of course, just a few entertaining paragraphs.
Please send your submissions to acrobatic (dot) flea (at) gmail (dot) com by noon on Wednesday, January 30.
After that date I shall choose the winner, and runner-up, and publish their entries in due course.
The main winner will get their pick of the two prizes on offer, the runner-up will get the remaining prize.
And the prizes?
Either a brand new copy of ICONS!, Steve Kenson's delightful, streamlined superheroes roleplaying game or a sealed DVD of With Great Power... The Stan Lee Story (please note this is a Region One encoded DVD, so you will need to be in the US of A, or the owner of a multi-region DVD player, to view it).
I am willing to post either prize anywhere on the globe, at my expense, so don't let geographical boundaries discourage you from entering!

It's obviously Bigby.
ReplyDeleteIn that case I think his spell misfired slightly ;-)
DeleteHappy bloggoversary and I think I will try my hand (groan) at something for the competition.
ReplyDeleteThanks - and good luck! Bad puns are not only acceptable, but encouraged ;-)
DeleteThere's something about that picture, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the puns keep on coming!
DeleteHoly cupcakes, six years. Congrats on the upcoming celebration. Very very cool.
ReplyDeleteLike the contest idea, too.
I can't believe it either - it feels like I've only been doing for a few months! I hope to see entries from you and Tim in due course ;-)
DeleteSounds fun! I think I'll give it a try as well.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
DeleteThat's a handsome fellow!
