The Phoenix Flies Again...

January 2013 marks the fifth anniversary of Star Trek: Phoenix's launch and the web series creators are preparing to make a "big announcement" to mark the occasion... but only if their social media numbers all hit a certain level.

They are asking fans to 'share' the Star Trek: Phoenix Fan page if they are on Facebook to increase the number of 'likes' for the page, and if they're on Twitter tweet a message about Phoenix to their followers (@startrekphoenix) to attract the attention of more fans.

These are all very attainable goals, so I'd encourage everyone to pitch in if they like what see below - Cloak & Dagger is the pilot episode of Star Trek: Phoenix.

It takes place in 2422, one year into the maiden voyage of the Ascension Class Federation Starship USS Phoenix. The episode begins after a major attack on the vessel and the crew attempts to rescue an away team on the remote planet Katrassii Prime. Little do they know, the rescue team will need saving from the secrets this perilous world possesses.

Star Trek: Phoenix is set 42 years after the events in the motion picture Star Trek: Nemesis and follows the original timeline created by Gene Roddenberry.
