Warner Bros may be bringing us their big budget, fantastical retelling of Jack And The Beanstalk as Jack The Giant Slayer next month but you can always rely on The Asylum to not leave a public domain stone unturned.
Look out also in March for the direct-to-DVD Jack The Giant Killer...
Warners' cinema release may star Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Bill Nighy and Ewan McGregor and be set in a fairytale world, but The Asylum's take on the tale has Jane March and Ben Cross and kicks off in our contemporary world before heading into the clouds.
It's just a pity that neither company, big or small, realised that the story of Jack The Giant Killer is NOT the same story as Jack And The Beanstalk....
